At around 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 18, officers arrived at the scene of a crash in the 1400 block of Warrenton Road, where they saw a moped stuck in the bumper of a Mack truck, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement's investigation revealed that the truck driver was driving closely behind the moped and rear-ended the bike, officials said.

The moped driver was not harmed, but was taken to a local hospital to be examined, police reported.

Police charged the truck driver with following too closely and the driver was released on a summons, authorities said.
